Cnoc Mhairi

400Cnoc Mhairi is a modern detached house with 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms, two of which are ensuite.  The house is situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Portree.

Cnoc Mhairi sits on a hill near Glen Varrigall Forest and has elevated panoramic views of Portree Bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Isle of Raasay as well as having a clear outlook to the Cuillin Hills.  The house offers a wonderful location for exploring Skye and has been refurbished to a very high standard ensuring a comfortable home with every convenience for your holiday.  Cnoc Mhairi has a large, private, mature and well maintained garden with uninterrupted and breathtaking views over the bay.  There is ample car parking and turning space to the rear of the property.

Cnoc Mhairi offers an open plan lounge/dining room and kitchen with wooden flooring.  There is a large television (with Sky TV including Sky movies), DVD player, docking station with radio and CD player and has ambient lighting for relaxing nights in a comfortable environment. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.  There is a large glass dining table and 6 leather dining chairs. The kitchen has an integrated washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Cnoc Mhairi sleeps up to 6 persons (maximum) and consists of a large master king size bedroom with shower en-suite, a large double bedroom with shower en-suite and a twin bedded room.  All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes; drawers and each have a hairdryer for your convenience.

There is a large tiled family bathroom with an additional electric shower over the bath.  The house has full electric central heating, all linen and towels are supplied.

Cnoc Mhairi is only a few minutes walk or a minute’s drive from the bustling town square of Portree.

Cnoc Mhairi can be occupied on the day of your arrival from 4.00pm and should be vacated no later than 9.30am on the day of your departureCnoc Mhairi is strictly no smoking throughout and sorry we do not accept pets.


Rental costs for Cnoc Mhairi will vary according to season and party size. Please contact us for prices based on your requirements.


The number of persons occupying the property must NOT exceed the maximum stipulated on the website and that identified on the initial enquiry.  The owners of Cnoc Mhairi Self Catering reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed or is abused in the duration of the let.

The client shall take all responsible and proper care of the property;  all furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same clean and tidy condition and state of repair and condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning.  All breakages/damage will required to be paid for.

The owners shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

A non-refundable £200 deposit per letting week (cheques made payable to CNOC MHAIRI) is required to secure your booking.  The balance of your holiday should be received no later than 6 weeks prior to your arrival.  (In the event of a cancellation the balance received will only be refunded if we relet that particular week.)
